We're strongly encouraging people to stay in the hotel block. This will be the easiest way to make sure you get to and from the wedding safely and on time. Hotels in this area also book up very quickly with all the fall weddings. Not to mention this is where the welcome drinks and after party will be!
We kindly ask that you put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We will happily share our professional photos with you after the wedding!
Men are encouraged to wear a tuxedo if you've got one or feel like being fancy. If not, no stress, a nice suit and tie will be just fine. Women are encouraged to wear a floor-length gown. It'll keep you nice and warm during the ceremony!

The only minor at this wedding will be our infant niece. And even she's gotta pass the vibe check that day ;)
At the wedding, yes! For the after party we'll have an assortment of drinks in coolers but feel free to BYO if you want something specific-- will be a super casual hang.
Staying in the hotel? Great! We'll have buses shuttling people over before the ceremony starts and back to the hotel after the reception ends.
Bradley in Hartford is the closest to the hotel. But honestly it's still about 1 hour and 20 minutes with traffic and Newark (the farthest) is 1 hour and 45 minutes with traffic. La Guardia is the closest NYC airport. So fly in to wherever makes the most sense for you!
Personally we find taxis to be cheaper and easier to track down at the airport. But ride-shares like Lyft and Uber work well too. Want some freedom over the weekend? Consider renting a car!
I'd plan on arriving by 4:15pm for the ceremony that starts at 4:30pm. There is parking at Le Chateau in the upper and lower lots if you are driving.
