Travel Note
Our venue is atop a hill with a single winding dirt road in and out of the little community of Water Witch. Due to this charming setting, this is a valet only parking setting. There is limited parking - carpooling is highly encouraged!
Hotel
We have reserved blocks of discounted rooms here for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Please CALL the hotel and reference the “Mahoney-McArdle Wedding” to book. Janet and Barry stayed here while they were undergoing renovations and enjoyed their stay. The newly renovated rooms, lobby, and guest areas are lovely. Please carpool or use Über or Lyft to get to venue.
Hotel
Bree and AJ will be spending their wedding night here. While we don’t have a block here, (it’s about 30mins from the wedding venue,) there are tons of things to do in Asbury — it’s our favorite spot! We suggest staying here (or in the area) if you’re interested in getting our favorite hometown experience. Walk the boardwalk and see famous venues like The Stone Pony and Convention Hall. Check out Bree’s favorite coffee shops High Voltage or Cafe Volan before browsing records at Hold Fast or books at The Asbury Book Cooperative (Bree and Victoria are co-op members and weekly patrons here!) Grab brunch at Cardinal or Toast and check out the Asbury Fresh farmer’s market at Kennedy Park before checking out vintage shops, art galleries, and more. Get our favorite ice cream at Cookman Creamery and visit kittens at Catsbury Park — the cat cafe!
Hotel
Don’t forget that Air BnB is a great option to rent a vacation house! There are tons of great beach houses you can rent for discounted rates in the off season. Atlantic Highlands, Highlands, Red Bank, Sea Bright, Monmouth Beach, Long Branch, Deal, and Asbury are all within 30mins or less of the venue.
Train
The North Jersey Coast Line runs from Penn Station, NYC and stops at Newark Airport and all the beach towns along the shore including Red Bank (next to Atlantic Highlands/Highlands,) Long Branch, and Asbury Park.
