Mount Ellinor is a stunning Olympic Peninsula hike offering panoramic views of Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains. Guests can choose the shorter route, about 3.3 miles round trip with roughly 1,800 feet of elevation gain from the upper trailhead, or the full hike from the lower trailhead, about 6.2 miles round trip with roughly 3,300 feet of elevation gain.
A scenic easy nature walk through a protected wetlands area where the Union River meets Hood Canal. It’s known for diverse wildlife, boardwalk paths, and beautiful views — great for a short hike, a relaxing afternoon outing, and birdwatching. Flat elevation and 3-3.5 mile loop, no dogs allowed.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 11am to 4pm Reservations reccomended but walk-ins are welcome when space allows. A laid-back, waterfront seafood spot right on the shores of the canal. It’s part of a family-run oyster farm where you can enjoy some of the freshest oysters and shellfish around, sourced straight from the farm and served with beautiful views of the water.
