Things To Do

The island is one of the most magical places, filled with so many hidden gems and places to explore! Here are some of our favorites!
Edgartown

Edgartown

Edgartown, MA

Downtown Edgartown has so many great restaurants and shopping! Here are some of our favorite places to eat: The Seafood Shanty, 19 Raw, The Port Hunter, The Wharf, Rockfish, The Atlantic, Bad Martha's Brewery, Espresso Love, Among the Flowers, Mad Martha's, Edgartown Diner, & more! Edgartown has a special place in the Aitro's hearts since this is where their memories on island began and where their home is located. Down the road from the Aitro home and 1 mile or so from town is Morning Glory Farm, stop by early for freshly baked breads and muffins that are still warm when you buy them! If you have time to go to the beach, South Beach, also known as Katama is located in Edgartown. It has by far the best waves and views, especially if you are able to drive your vehicle on! Just look out for seals...

Oak Bluffs

Oak Bluffs

Oak Bluffs, MA

OB is another village on the island that is full of activities and places to visit: * Make sure before you leave the island you stop at Nancy's to get a Dirty Banana! (worth the line!!) * If you want to let your inner child out hit up the Arcade, the famous Flying Horses, or the Barn for some bowling! * Noman's is a brewery and great spot for live music and lawn games! * Circuit Avenue is filled with tons of tourist shops and places to grab food!

Jaws Bridge

Jaws Bridge

267-125 Seaview Avenue, Edgartown, MA 02539

As most of you know, one of the most famous movies of all time was filmed right on Martha's Vineyard, JAWS! It is a rite of passage to jump off the infamous Jaws bridge when you visit the island! If you don't get the chance to jump off, just make sure to give the fellow jumpers a honk when you drive by!

Aquinnah Cliffs

Aquinnah Cliffs

31 Aquinnah Circle, Aquinnah, MA 02535

Depending on how long you are staying this attraction may or may not be in the cards for you, however if you DO have the time to drive up island and see the Aquinnah Cliffs, you should do so!! (It's about a 35-40 minute drive from Edgartown) It is the most breathtaking view overlooking the cliffs, the ocean, and light house. You will completely forget you are in Massachusetts!
