Do you have any hotel recommendations?

The Chelsea Hotel, Toronto: We have reserved a block of rooms with a special rate for Thursday June 20th, Friday June 21st and Saturday June 22nd. Just ensure you give the Bride and Groom names upon booking, and book before May 22nd to guarantee the rate!

What is the best way to get around Toronto on public transit?

Answer

The TTC features buses, subways, and 'streetcars' (Toronto's version of the Irish 'LUAS') that are all part of the same transit system. One way fare is $3.25, however if you are planning to use it a lot, bear in mind you can get a weekly pass: https://www.ttc.ca/Fares_and_passes/Passes/Weekly_pass.jsp. Taxis are also very easily available within the city, as are Uber and Lyft.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our wedding has an open bar and we are looking forward to having our guests enjoy this! If you do not plan to take advantage of the open bar, and you are driving, please note the following parking lots nearby: Underground parking lot at the back of the Windsor Arms Hotel (off Sultan Street) 162 Cumberland Parking lot - this is a 24 hour lot with competitive rates (5 minute walk from venue)
