The Old Market
Great walkable district in downtown Omaha with plenty of boutique stores and restaurants. Within walking distance of many downtown hotels and only 5 miles from Eppley Airfield.
Plank Seafood Provisions
Plank is an oyster bar and seafood grill located in the Old Market, Omaha. This has been our go to for a nice night out since we were in college. With a rotating menu there's always something fresh to try. Go during happy hour for $1 oysters, Spiked Lemonades and Potato Crusted Calamari. If you're feeling adventurous try the Overboard Oyster Shot.
Soaring Wings Vineyard and Brewing
A bit out of the way but 100% worth the drive. They offer 20 wines and 9 different brews for purchase or just to sit and sip. Fridays offer a live band and Saturdays see acoustic show outside on their patio overlooking the hills near the Platte River
Loess Hills National Scenic Byway
We went to the scenic overlook to take our engagement photos. Pictures don't do it justice. Its breathtaking in person.
Loess Hills Lavender Farm
The lavender blooms from Mid-June thru September.
