Aishwarya and Gautam grew up only an hour apart but never crossed paths. She was in New Jersey and he was in Pennsylvania. It took a good old-fashioned role reversal, with Aishwarya ending up in Philadelphia many years later for residency and Gautam in Princeton for his post-doc, for the universe to finally get its timing right. After their first date at The Dinky Bar at Princeton University, they both left with a feeling that they had met the person they would spend the rest of their lives with. They continued to fall in love over their mutual love of cooking (re: Gautam's love of cooking and Aish's love of eating his cooking), museums (hence us getting married at a museum), and endless conversations (nonstop yapping). They are so excited for their wedding this upcoming Spring and officially start their lives together!
