Enjoy mehndi (henna), music, and mingling with guests. A fun way to kick off the wedding celebrations before the following days' formal events. Food will be served.

Nischithartham and Reception

8:00 am - 10:00 pm

Indian or Western formal

Formal pre-wedding rituals in the morning (vratham and nischiyathartham), followed by an evening reception -- an opportunity to formally congratulate the bride and groom and take pictures. Dinner will be served. Vratham: 8:00am - 10:00am Nischiyathartham: 11:00am - 12:00pm Reception: 6:30pm - 10:00pm

Muhurtham and Nalangu

7:00 am - 2:00 pm

Indian or Western formal

Formal wedding ceremony in the morning, followed by a lighthearted afternoon of fun and games. Lunch will be served. Muhurtham (Wedding): 8:30am - 10:30am Nalangu (afternoon games): 12:00pm - 2:00pm
