We suggest that guests plan to arrive on Jan 3 or 4th if you plan to attend both engagement ceremony and wedding. We will have shuttles from the airport to our hotel on those days. If you will be attending only the ceremony on Jan 7, let us know when exactly you will be arriving and we will make transportation arrangements. There are several airlines offering flights to this airport from any location in the United States. Airline recommendations: Delta Airlines (only option offering direct flights typically from Atlanta). The following airlines will offer connecting flights through Europe or United Arab Emirates (Dubai): British Airways, Lufthansa Airlines, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines or Emirates. We recommend booking your tickets as soon as you can as prices may surge closer to the time of the wedding given the holiday period.

There will be a shuttle provided from Victoria Crown Plaza Hotel to both wedding events (engagement ceremony and wedding/reception). The shuttle will run every hour from the hotel to the venue.

COVID 19 and VACCINATION PROTOCOLS

VISA REQUIRED for all US citizens for travel to Nigeria with the closest Nigerian consulate/embassy. Nigerian consulates are located in Washington DC, New York and Atlanta, Georgia. Visa Fee cost $160. Please visit https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/visa/freshVisa to start an application. We will provide any letters of invitation needed for the purposes of your application. Effective April 4, 2022, all passengers travelling to Nigeria from any country MUST register via the online Nigeria International Travel Portal (nitp.ncdc.gov.ng). Fully vaccinated passengers arriving in Nigeria are not required to test for COVID-19 before departure or after arrival. Fully vaccinated passengers must show a verifiable full vaccination certificate. Full vaccination for COVID-19 refers to a person who received two (2) doses of an Pfizer, Moderna or J&J vaccines at least 2 weeks before their date of travel. Those without a vaccination certificate will be treated as unvaccinated/partially vaccinated under this protocol. Yellow World Health Organization and U.S. CDC vaccination cards are acceptable. Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated passengers are required to take a COVID-19 PCR test 48hrs before departure and on day 2 and 7 post-arrival. These passengers must pay for their PCR tests through the Nigeria International Travel Portal (nitp.ncdc.gov.ng) prior to departure. For guests returning to the US: All travelers aged two and older are required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 viral test result taken no more than one day before travel. Both nucleic acid amplification tests, such as a PCR test, and antigen tests qualify. The website above has approved list of laboratories for taking the test prior to departure. Update your routine vaccinations at your local travel clinic and obtain malaria prophylaxis if you have never been to Nigeria.
