Question

COVID Update

Answer

We are hoping that everyone (who wants one) will be vaccinated by July 24th. As restrictions have been lifted, we're able to have the ceremony and reception as planned, and we're hoping that the situation will continue to improve. We will continue to monitor the COVID situation in Oregon and will send out updates if the plans change in any way. We're not planning to postpone the wedding again, and we hope to see everyone on our special day. However, if you are uncomfortable attending (for any reason), we completely understand and do not want anyone to feel pressured to attend. Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our registry. Those contributions are still sitting in the Zola account, and we plan to claim the funds as we get closer to the wedding. We will send out individual thank you notes at that time. Please take care of yourselves, and we hope to celebrate with you on July 24th!

Question

Do I have to be vaccinated to attend?

Answer

"McMenamins is open at full capacity. All restrictions have been lifted by Oregon and Washington, but we will follow any state, county or city guidelines if they are reenacted." Updated July 1, 2021

Question

Is your wedding accessible?

Answer

The ceremony will take place in the Meadow, which is an outside space behind the resort, and it's accessible without steps. The Meadow will continue to be available during the reception (e.g., to play lawn games and hang out, etc.), but most of the reception will be inside Blackberry Hall, which is next to the Meadow. We'll use a microphone during the ceremony and reception, and we'll be able to control the volume (including music). If you prefer, you can stand during the ceremony. It will probably be hot that day, but Blackberry Hall has AC, so please plan accordingly.
