Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 15th, 2023. Please ensure you select your meal choice and make us aware of any dietary restrictions or allergies. If you are staying overnight at one of the two hotels listed, please let us know so we can coordinate your transportation to and from the venue.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony begins at 4:30pm. Guest should arrive at the venue by 4:00pm. Transportation will be provided for guests to and from the venue.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kids, this is an adult-only event! We hope you understand and take the opportunity to have a night out with us and let loose on the dance floor!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we would appreciate “dressy casual wear” for our wedding, please avoid wearing jeans, informal shorts, t-shirts.

Are heels okay?

Answer

For anyone who plans to wear heels to the wedding, please be aware that the ceremony is in a grassy area and so we recommend you do not wear stilettos. If wearing heels, we suggest block heels or wedges.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited. Thank you for not bringing a guest unless indicated on your invitation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please contact Ainsley via email (ainsleyblack@trentu.ca) if you have any food allergies or restrictions that we should be aware of.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. We have a bus that will go to and from the venue and hotels. There will also be a pickup and drop off at a public parking lot. Parking is limited at the venue and we would like to leave spaces for our vendors and individuals with accessibility needs. Please note guests are not permitted to leave their vehicles overnight at the venue and ride services are limited due to the rural location of the venue.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We do not have a registry asking for specific items. Rather we would be very grateful to receive a monetary gift that we can use for our honeymoon/future house fund. If you would prefer to buy us something more personalized, we would love for you to consider purchasing a date experience (ex. a movie night, dinner, Ripley's aquarium, baseball game, etc.). Thank you!

Do I need cash for the bar?

Answer

No! It will be an open bar so no need for cash :)
