We've never been here, but it's apparently a really cool place to go, and folks travel from out of state to come see it. A few wildebeests escaped in 2003 as well as a giraffe in 2018, but I'm sure they've increased their security measures since then.
According to a few articles, The City of Fort Wayne Fireworks show for Independence Day is typically held on I&M Power Company grounds, starting at around 10pm. Normally, this show would kick-start the annual Three Rivers Festival, but The Three Rivers Festival Board has filed for bankruptcy which subsequently cancelled the 2025 festivities.
