We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We’ve booked a couple babysitters to make that a reality. The names listed on your invitation is who we're expecting. If you have kids and "family" is not listed, please feel free to utilize the babysitting that is provided. Babysitting will be in a big room in the back of the lodge, and the coordinator suggests that it works best when parents don't go back and check on them too often.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Dressy casual. If (like Dustin), you have no idea what that means, here's the definition off a wedding website: Depending on the time of the event, you'll want to dress somewhere between formal and casual. Wear darker, more formal hues for an evening fete; opt for light colors and fabrics for a daytime wedding. He should wear: A suit and tie, dark or light depending on the season and time of day. She should wear: A cocktail dress or a dressy skirt and top.
Although Aimee is always down for that extra inch, we'd advise you to wear what's comfortable for an outdoor wedding. Wedges and flats may be best, or bring sandals to change in after pics.
Because of how spread out everyone is probably going to be, we recommend carpooling as much as possible, but we're looking into shuttle options, and we'll update with more info as we get it!
The sooner the better, just because it makes our planning so much easier. Most of our hard deadlines are a month before the ceremony, so around the end of April would be great!
There's ample parking at the lodge!
