Feed her tacos and tell her she's pretty. Boom, you're married. Tacos solve everything. Hungry? Tacos. Sad? Tacos. In need of a healthy, life long relationship? Tacos. Truth be told, tacos may have been the catalyst, but the bond had began to grow long before tacos came into the equation. Having met in middle school, Devon and Aimee had a reserved understanding from both of their perspectives, this person isn't so bad, I could totally eat tacos with them. Over the years since, they had reconnected on multiple occasions. Whether it be through Aimee's position as a soccer manager for the high school boys team, or Devon's position as a team member under Aimee's management making a slightly less favored, but perfectly suitable SUBstitution for tacos, at Firehouse Subs. Or even that one time, at band camp.. these two, for far more reasons than sharing space of voluntary employment, paid or unpaid, believe that this is a God given blessing that has long awaited them. That fateful, completely unprompted evening of tacos, was never really about the tacos.. although it was an excellent cover story. The tacos represented something far deeper, knowing they were drawn to something, rather someone, for some time now. March 20th, 2024 was the day they put this knowing into motion. March 20th, 2025 was the day they put this knowing into action. March 20th, 2026 will be the day that this knowing will become more than a thought, but forever reality. In anticipation of this special day, they hope all of you will come ready to be present, not simply investing your time and energy, but rather that you would enjoy the part of that day you happen to share with us. Although this is meant to highlight their beautiful union, they want you to be with them, not merely observing, but partaking, as if you too had been simply enjoying a casual evening like they were, with tacos and a friend. They both look forward to all of you sharing this day with them and are excited to continue sharing their lives, now closer than ever.
