Scott's Addition Historic District
Scotts Addition is a neighborhood in Richmond - a place we often walk to from our apartment to fun breweries, coffee spots, and restaurants. Ardent is our favorite brewery! Brown's Island
Brown's Island / Belle Isle is a beautiful spot for walking/jogging/biking with trails along the James River and great views of the city!
The Jefferson Hotel
The Jefferson Hotel at Christmas time is iconic and our favorite; we highly recommend seeing the tree and beautiful decorations! Free to the public. Yummy seasonal cocktails at the hotel bar.
Carytown
A favorite area of ours (which include monthly date nights) is Carytown. This strip is comprised of locally-owned businesses and embodies the heart of RVA. Our fave spots in Carytown: 1. Sugar & Twine (coffee) 2. New York Deli 3. Can Can (espresso martinis!!!) 4. Clementine, Lou Lou Boutique, Buffalo Exchange (some of Syndal's favorite shopping) 5. Mom's Siam
