Things To Do

Colorado is a special place to us, and we’re so excited to share it with you. We’ve put together a list of our favorite spots to hike, eat, drink, and explore around Pine, Golden, Morrison, and Denver. Enjoy your time here, make some memories, and celebrate with us — we can’t wait to see you!

Staunton State Park

12102 South Elk Creek Road, Pine, CO 80470

Only minutes from Pine, this park is a local favorite in early October. You’ll get golden aspens, red rock outcrops, and quiet mountain trails.

Pine Valley Ranch Park

30400 Crystal Lake Road, Pine, CO 80470

The Pine Lake Loop, Strawberry Jack, and Park View trails near Pine offer an easy 2.5-mile hike with gentle climbs and about 492 feet of elevation gain. In 1 to 1.5 hours, you’ll walk through aspen groves, tall trees, enjoy mountain views, and finish with a peaceful loop around Pine Lake.

Kenosha Pass

Forest Rd 849, Jefferson, CO 80456

If you’re up for a little drive, Kenosha Pass is one of Colorado’s best spots for fall colors — and it’s just a quick trip down Highway 285. In early October, the aspen trees light up in gold, and there are easy trails where you can wander right through them. It’s a beautiful way to spend a morning or afternoon and soak up some classic Colorado scenery.

Clear Creek Trail

1020 11th Street, Golden, CO 80401

Clear Creek Trail is actually one of the bride’s and Cheddar’s favorite places to walk in Golden. It’s a beautiful, easy path along the river where you can enjoy peaceful water views, watch kayakers, and soak in that fresh Colorado air.

New Terrain Brewing Company

16401 Table Mountain Parkway, Golden, CO 80403

The bride and groom love grabbing drinks at New Terrain Brewing and bringing Cheddar along—it’s actually one of the spots where they went on one of their very first dates!

Fossil Trace Golf Club

3050 Illinois Street, Golden, CO 80401

Fossil Trace Golf Club in Golden is one of the bride and groom’s favorite courses — they've played here together for years and always try to sneak in a round when they're nearby. The course is beautiful, with red rock formations, mountain views, and even real dinosaur fossils near one of the holes (classic Colorado). If you’re a golfer, this is a great spot to check out while you're in town.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

18300 West Alameda Parkway, Morrison, CO 80465

One of Colorado’s most iconic spots, Red Rocks is just outside of Morrison and totally worth the visit — even if there’s no concert. You can hike the trails, explore the amphitheatre, and take in sweeping views of the red rock formations and foothills. It's a great stop for photos, fresh air, or just to see what all the hype is about!

Happy Camper Pizza

3211 North Pecos Street, Denver, CO 80211

One of the bride and groom's favorite spots for drinks in the city! Happy Camper has fun cocktails, great pizza, and the kind of funky patio vibe that makes it easy to lose track of time. We love hanging out here when we're in Denver — it's the perfect place to kick back with friends.

The Golden Mill

1012 Ford Street, Golden, CO 80401

The bride and groom love coming to the Golden Mill to relax with drinks and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. It’s one of their favorite spots in Golden to unwind. Even Cheddar loves tagging along and soaking up the fun!

Goosetown Station

514 9th Street, Golden, CO 80401
, (303) 278-2729

For a fun night out in Golden, check out Goosetown Station! The bride and Cheddar loved coming here for a drink and live music when she lived in Golden. It’s a local favorite with great cocktails, a relaxed mountain-town vibe, and an outdoor patio with fire pits — perfect for a laid-back evening with friends.
