While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adult-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you! Please note: A few children who are part of our wedding party will be in attendance for the ceremony and part of the reception.
We’d love to celebrate with all of our favorite people, but due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. We so appreciate your understanding! ❤️
We kindly ask that guests be seated by 3:45 PM, as our ceremony will take place outdoors and the aisle needs to be cleared by 4:00 PM for the start of the ceremony.
We recommend guests stay in Golden, Colorado (about 30–35 minutes from the venue). Golden has great restaurants, breweries, and mountain views—and it’s where most guests will be! If you’d like to stay closer, Evergreen, Pine, and Bailey are also good options.
Yes — we highly recommend renting a car. Public transportation doesn't really reach Pine, and you'll appreciate the flexibility for exploring the area. If you're flying in with a group, carpooling is also a great idea!
Yes, there will be parking available onsite at the venue; however, parking is limited. Since Mountain View Ranch is tucked away in the mountains, access can be a bit challenging. To help save space and make the trip easier for everyone, we encourage guests to carpool or use the shuttle service if possible.
October in Colorado is crisp, colorful, and unpredictable! You might get sunny 70° afternoons… or a surprise snowfall. Pack layers — think sweater weather plus a warm jacket for evenings.
If you choose to drive yourself, please be prepared for mountain roads. They can be winding, narrow, and sometimes steep, especially in October when weather can be variable. Drive carefully, watch for wildlife, and allow extra time for travel. If you prefer not to drive, we recommend using the shuttle service or arranging a ride with other guests.
You might, especially if you're coming from sea level. Pine sits at about 8,400 feet. To stay comfortable, drink tons of water, avoid heavy drinking your first night, and give yourself time to adjust. Even short hikes can feel more intense — it's normal! (We’re looking at you, Louisiana/Oklahoma/Texas crew)
Yes! Please dress accordingly (and bring that jacket — it gets chilly once the sun goes down).
The dress code is cocktail attire — think semi-formal, but still comfortable enough to dance in! October in Colorado can be a bit of a wild card: it might be sunny and 70°, or we could get an early snowfall. (Truly, anything is possible.) We recommend dressing in layers and bringing a jacket or wrap for the evening, especially since parts of the celebration will be outdoors.
Absolutely! The bride, groom, and some family and wedding party members will be playing at Fossil Trace Golf Club early in the morning—probably around 7 AM. Friends are welcome to join! Just be sure to book your tee time directly with Fossil Trace Golf Club, ideally right after our group’s tee time, so everyone can play together. Don’t forget to bring your golf clubs! 🏌️♂️🏌️♀️ If you need to rent, Fossil Trace does offer rentals—just check with them when you book. Feel free to reach out if you want more details!
Absolutely — this is one of our favorite parts! Whether you want a hike, a beer, or a scenic drive, Colorado delivers.
Denver International Airport (DIA) is the closest major airport, about [1.5 hours] from Pine. From there, you can rent a car or grab a ride to the mountains. Please check the Travel tab for more details and options for car rentals!
