FAQs

If you have any questions that aren't answered here, please reach out to Aileen at 812-272-8255.
Question

Do I need to be vaccinated for COVID?

Answer

Yes and boosted please. There will be people in attendance that are immunocompromised so this is especially important. If you are feeling unwell, please make responsible choices in regards to testing and do not attend if you think you may have covid. While we want everyone to come, we also want everyone to feel safe.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

We will be providing a limited number of Uber vouchers in the value of $25 each. We recommend carpooling and scheduling your ride ahead of time. This is the voucher code for the app rszoEKFclod

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP as early as you can, but definitely by August 1, 2022.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There is a large parking lot at the top of the hill. Please park here and walk down to the ceremony area near the formal garden.

Question

When should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Please arrive by 4:15 pm at latest so that you are seated for the ceremony to start at 4:30 pm. It will take a few minutes to walk from the parking lot to the ceremony area. If you aren’t able to walk this distance, there is a drop-off area closer to the ceremony location. Please coordinate with Aileen.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

You are definitely welcome to bring your kids or babies, just make sure to RSVP for them! There is plenty of space for the older ones to run around, and we will have some kid friendly tables. There will also be a changing/nursing tent for those who need it. However, we will not be providing booster seats/high chairs.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please do not bring a date unless you are specifically given a guest on your invitation envelope and/or the RSVP page. If you weren't given a plus one and would like to bring someone, please ask Aileen prior to the RSVP deadline and we will see what we can do.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is dressy casual/semi-formal. A wide range of attire is acceptable including cocktail dresses, garden/summer dresses, LBDs, maxi dresses, and jumpsuits, or slacks and a dress shirt with a jacket and/or tie. Do keep in mind that Indiana weather can be unpredictable and the wedding is entirely outdoors. If you're wearing heels, wedges are recommended over stilettos for easier navigation in the grass.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

We have a large tent complete with sidewalls in case of rainy weather.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. Please add a note on your RSVP if you have a food allergy or dietary restriction. We will have vegetarian and gluten free options available.

Question

Should I bring cash for the bar?

Answer

We will have an open bar of beer and wine. Liquor won’t be served due to license rules. Cash tips for the bartenders are appreciated.
