In Cancun, you will generally find two types of hotels in the hotel zone:
1. Non-All-Inclusive (often called the European Plan): Charge for the room only, which gives you the flexibility to explore local restaurants and dining options outside the hotel.
• 4-Star: Typically $180–$200 USD (+Taxes & Fees)
• 5-Star: Typically $300–$450+ USD
2. All-Inclusive: Cover your room, all meals, beverages (often including alcohol), and resort activities
• 4-Star: Typically $250–$400 USD (+Taxes & Fees)
• 5-Star: Typically $500–$850+ USD
For getting around the Hotel Zone, taxis are the most convenient option. Uber is available in Cancún, but it cannot pick up directly at hotel properties. Expect to pay approximately $20–$30 USD per ride
