Barton Springs Municipal Pool
Our first 'hang spot' the day we met. Bring your bathing suit and check out this famous Austin gem. Barton Springs is a 100% naturally spring fed pool that stays 68-72 degrees year round. Note: outside food and drinks other than water are NOT allowed.
The White Horse
Our favorite dance hall--look out for the opportunity to meet us here for some two stepping during the wedding weekend.
Hestia
Have a (lot) of extra cash and willing to throw it at some of the best food you've ever had? Book a reservation and do it early at Hestia.
Meanwhile Brewing
One of our favorite breweries! The four food trailers on site are NOT to be missed. A bbq truck (one of the best in the state), one of our favorite taco spots, delicious pizza, and a food trailer carrying some of the best ice cream in town
Town Lake & Bike Trail
Bring your walking shoes and take a walk around Town Lake (hot tip: pass for a local and be sure to call it "town lake' and NOT "Lady Bird Lake". Sure fire way for folks to know you're in from out of town.
Allens Boots
Looking for some cowboy boots to scoot a boot during your time here? This is one of the best places to visit. Large selection of men and women's boots, hats, and belts. (Insider tip: if you're planning to use these boots for dancing and getting out on the town, be sure to buy boots with a leather sole. Looking for more of a boot to wear while out working? Zilker Park
Just steps away from where the wedding will be held, this massive park is where ACL is held every year. Check it out on a gorgeous day for some grand people (and dog) watching.

Best chips and salsa and best margs in town (be sure to try the Prickly Pair margarita.) You'll thank us later.

Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden
Super chill place to hang outside with drinks or coffee on a beautiful afternoon. The bbq truck on site is one of the best in the state, and the taco truck is our favorite in town (strongly recommend the Don Chago!)
