Aidan and Ghilda attended a university nestled in the bluffs of Colorado Springs, Colorado, but had only crossed paths when Ghilda's on-campus job brought her to a unique part of the science building. Ghilda was prospecting locations for students to host private events, where she saw an opened door that was usually locked. In this lab, Aidan was working with a team that specialized in constructing electric race cars, and eagerly invited her into the room to see their car. With Ghilda's family pedigree having a historic background in rally racing back home in Peru, she immediately knew what was in store for this team. After spending some time introducing the team and their mission, Aidan suggested they meet for coffee the very next day. They found themselves at a wonderful local coffee shop called Wayfinder. Their first date lasted hours as they exchanged life stories of each other's illustrious experiences up to this point. It only took six days for them to enter what would become a life-changing relationship that has evolved into a powerful representation of love, togetherness, and dreams that will take a long-awaited step forward on November 14th, 2026 in Lima, Peru.

While Ghilda and Aidan were building their love story one moment at a time, four years had passed since Ghilda last visited Peru. There were countless calls and frequent FaceTimes with family, and sporadic visits from them to Colorado, but there was still a piece of Peru missing. Once the time came to finally return home and introduce Aidan to a brand new world, the excitement of homecoming unlocked the mystery of what their life as a multi-continental couple would entail. It was Winter in July-- Lima The Grey revealed herself with overcasts and cloudy skies each day. With full lungs and larger appetites, the dense air and delicious food from the sea satiated their senses from the moment they landed. Ghilda was uncovering memories of her old life, and Aidan was enthralled by the highly regarded gastronomic offerings Peru has to offer. Day by day, Ghilda introduced Aidan to her loving family, and he endeared himself with his penchant for adventure and broken Spanish. While their first visit only lasted ten days, their plans to return each year became set in stone. From seaside adventures to sandy desert excursions, and showcasing family roots to touring new regions, the time spent in Peru for their first time as a couple became a core memory that propelled the motivation to have a wedding in this beautiful country so that Aidan's family could experience the same awe and wonder he felt on this visit.

We now find ourselves orchestrating an incredible day that we have been dreaming of since our engagement. The unification of our lives, the joining of our families, and the ability to share it with our dearest friends at a captivating location brings us ultimate joy that we will share this moment with you.
