What time does the wedding start?
Answer
Start time for ceremony will be 4:00 PM. Please arrive by 3:45 PM and keep in mind you will need to take a shuttle to the venue.

What time does the wedding end?
Answer
The dance floor and music will end at 10 PM. All guests are welcome to stay for an after party with a bonfire by the lake, which will last until 12 AM. Bar service will continue until 10 PM. Beer and wine will be available at the after party.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
There will be no guest parking at Strawberry Lake Lodge on our wedding day. Shuttles will transport guests from both our designated hotels in Brighton (~30 minutes from our venue) and from the Chilson Commons shopping center parking lot (~10 minutes from our venue). The Chilson Commons parking lot is located at 9543 Chilson Rd in Pinckney MI. Answer
Shuttle service will begin from both hotels at 2:30 pm and from the Chilson Commons shopping center parking area at 3:15 pm. Please keep in mind that the Brighton hotels are approximately 30 minutes from our venue and the Chilson Commons parking lot is approximately 10 minutes from our venue and plan your arrival accordingly. Return shuttle service to all locations will be available throughout the event with scheduled returns taking place around 9:30 pm and between 11:00 pm and 12:00 am If you wish to return to any of the locations at a time other than those scheduled, please let one of our coordinators know and they will request that the shuttle return for you.

What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Cocktail attire. The ceremony and reception will be entirely outdoors with parts of the day taking place on a grass lawn. Weather in Michigan in late May can be fickle! After the reception, all guests are invited to stay for an after party with a bonfire. Please take all of this into consideration when choosing your attire.

Are there any events after the wedding day?
Answer
Yes! There will be a drop-in breakfast on Sunday (5/26). Join us back at the lodge from 9-11 AM the morning after the big day for coffee and pastries. There will not be a shuttle service and parking is extremely limited, so please consider carpooling. Dress code for this event is casual.
