Where is prom 2026?

Answer

Prom 2026 will be held at Petruzzello's. The address is 6950 Rochester Rd, Troy, MI 48085

What time is prom 2026?

Answer

The doors will open at 6:30pm and close promptly at 7:30 pm. Any guest who arrives after 7:30 pm will not be permitted to attend the event. No refunds will be given for this reason. The venue is about 10 minutes from the high school, please plan your arrival/drop off time accordingly. Once you leave the building you will not be permitted back in.

When will guest passes be available and what is the guest policy?

Answer

A guest must be at least in high school and not over nineteen years of age. (So yes, if someone graduated but is under 19, they can still attend). Please me sure to follow the outlined procedure on the guest pass. Guest must bring a picture ID. Guest Passes will be available outside of the main office March 9th- March 23rd 2026 All Guest Passes are due by 3:00 pm on Monday, March 23rd 2026 to Mrs. Bovenseip. No guest passes submitted after this date and time will be approved. All guests (including Avondale underclassmen) need guest passes in order to attend the event. If there is no HS administrator to sign off on this guest pass, the guest must call to make an appointment to be interviewed by an Avondale HS administrator before the above stated date. Please see the forms page to download the guest pass form.

Who do I turn guest passes in to?

Answer

Once the top portion of the guest sheet is complete, the guest should take it to his/her (the guest) HS school administrator. If there are no concerns to the best of his/her knowledge with the guest attending a dance at Avondale High School, the administrator should sign this form and fax it to Avondale High School at (248) 537-6105 or email it to robin.bovensiep@avondaleschools.org by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23rd, 2026. If there are concerns, the administrator should call Avondale High School at (248) 537-6100. If there is no HS administrator to sign off on this guest pass, the guest must call to make an appointment to be interviewed by an Avondale HS administrator before the above stated date.

What is the dress code for prom?

Answer

Buttock and genitalia must be fully covered, no sagging slacks will be permitted, and dress slits cannot be above mid-thigh. Breasts and pectorals must also be fully covered including side profiles. Individuals in attire deemed inappropriate at the event will be sent home by the administration and no refunds will be given.

When will ticket sales happen?

Answer

Ticket sales are April 7th-17th 2026 online via eventlink registration. Final day of ticket sales is Friday, April 17th at 3pm. Absolutely no tickets will be sold after this date, regardless of circumstance. Each person you are purchasing a ticket for will need the registration form filled out before a ticket in their name can be purchased!

How do I pick a prom table group?

Answer

Prom Table Groups will be done with Mr. Hartley in B8. This will occur April 20th - April 24th. Please see the instructions below regarding table groups. 1. Prom table group sheet for choosing your table group can be found using this link, in the counseling office, or in Mr. Hartley's room. 2. One prom table group sheet per table group needs to be filled out. 3. You may only turn your prom table group sheet into Mr. Hartley during passing time or lunch. 4. Prom table group sheets require the name of the person and their signature to indicate that you have discussed who is at your table. 5. Once the prom table group sheet is turned into Mr. Hartley, you will not be able to change your table group. 6. Prom table group sheets fully filled out with a table group of 10: guaranteed to sit with their full table. 7. Prom table group sheets partially filled out with a table group of less than 10: we will do our best to accommodate but might need to add or separate to accommodate numbers. 8. If you have a date: fill out the group sheet even it is just the 2 of you. Otherwise we can not guarantee that you will sit next to each other. 9. If you do not fill out a prom table group sheet: You will be randomly assigned a table.

What is the school day attendance requirements?

Answer

ALL STUDENTS attending prom will need to attend school all day the day before prom (Thursday, May 7th). Please know attendance will be checked at 2:22pm 5/7 by administration. You will be notified via email if you are no longer eligible to attend by Mrs. Carver and Mr. Hartley. (No refunds will be given.)

What kind of food will be at prom?

Answer

Prom will be a buffet this year. However, if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, please make note of it on the agreement form.

Will there be a security process?

Answer

Yes, yes there will be. The same process you go through to enter the school building will also be at the prom venue. If there are items found on your person that are not allowed at school, you will not be permitted into the venue and will be asked to leave. No refunds.

Will I be able to have a refund?

Answer

There will be no refunds for any circumstance. Please make sure you read through the prom agreement thoroughly.
