Independence Mall
Stop in and tour the place where the Declaration of Independence was signed! When in the area, Mikey likes to regale Sika with random history facts & she likes to remind him that National Treasure was shot here! *Pictured here: our first trip together in 2012
Philadelphia LOVE Park
Take a pic under the iconic Love statue! It's lovely night or day and positioned right by City Hall and Ben Franklin Parkway, which both make for great photo ops! *Pictured here, is the last photo taken during Sika's first visit up to meet the family!
Philadelphia Museum of Art
Snag a Pic with Rocky or run up the Museum steps in true Rocky fashion! Fun Fact: This is where we got engaged! *Pictured here is the first photo we ever took in Philly in 2012. Never did Sika think she'd later call this city home!
Liberty Bell
If we're being honest, we hurried through the museum and went straight for the photo on our first visit, but later trips have proven it's a great site to soak up some history!
Reading Terminal Market
Just a short walk from the hotels and a Philadelphia treasure. Lots of delicious, authentic and palate pleasing places to try all in one venue! Mikey's recommends Hershel's East SideDeli or DiNic's, while Sika love's Hunger Burger!
Eastern State Penitentiary
It is in the middle of Fairmount, the neighborhood where Mikey and Sika shared their first apartment, & became local trivia champs.
Jim's Steaks
Even if you skip the steaks, take a stroll down South Street and enjoy one of the many shops or restaurants on the block!
Chinatown
Amazing Chinese food and home to one of our favorite restaurants, Empress Garden!
McGillin's Olde Ale House
It is busting at the seams more often than not but well worth the crowds for the guaranteed good time! Not to mention, the place where Sika's karaoke rendition of Wagon Wheel received a standing ovation!
City Tavern Restaurant
One of Mikey & Sika's favorite places to take newcomers because of it's unique atmosphere and Sika loves the meade!
Penn's Landing
Have a nice breezy stroll by the water. We've racked up a million great photos with this view just over our shoulders!
Spruce Street Harbor Park
Sit by the water at a picnic table or lounge around in a hammock watching boats go by! Make sure you snag a yummy funnel cake! Mikey and I share one every time we go and it never disappoints!
Independence Beer Garden
This outside food and beer garden has everything. Lots of food, lawn games and great specials! It's also where Mikey & Sika continued their engagement celebration in July 2018, surrounded by family and friends!
The Shops at Liberty Place
Right in the heart of Center City, you can check out the shops to grab a last minute outfit, or take the lift to the very top and take in the views of the city!
Old City
Spend some time in Old City noting the historical placards throughout the neighborhood and stop in Mac's Tavern if you're an "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" fan! On Sika's first trip to Philly she made Mikey take her there so she could fan girl!
Chubby's Steaks
Although it is off the beaten path, Chubby's is home to one AMAZING cheesesteak and it's a Krimm Family favorite!
Dalessandro's Steaks
Right across the street from Chubby's is Jimmy Fallon's favorite place to snag a steak in Roxborough. Go with a friend and conduct your own little taste-test to determine who's got the best steak on the block!
Pat's King of Steaks
The first cheesesteak Sika ever tried in Philly! Not her favorite but the Food Network has sang it's praises.
Geno's Steaks
Right in our neck of the woods (down the street from our house in fact), Geno's is across the street from Pat's and just as renowned!
Italian Market 9th Street
Another neighborhood gem, the Italian market is a Philadelphia staple. At the very least take a drive through or stop in for an authentic Italian dinner at a Krimm family favorite, Villa Di Roma.
Boathouse Row
You'll recognize it from the opening scene of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and it's just as beautiful at night as it is during the day!
Elfreth's Alley
Stroll down the alley and enjoy the homes, preserved in their condition for more than 200 years. Mikey & Sika have toured one of the homes and can attest to their charm. Not to mention you can dress up in colonial hats for some fun pics.
