Please RSVP by July 1st. You can either mail your response using the pre-addressed, stamped envelope provided in your invitation or using the RSVP page on our wedding website.

Question

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. If a plus one has been reserved for you, their name (or a guest option) will appear on the RSVP page.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your children and are so grateful to have many young family members and friends in our lives. Due to venue capacity and logistics, we are only able to accommodate the children specifically included on invitations. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested. For men, a suit or blazer with dress pants is recommended. For women, cocktail dresses, midi or floor-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates are all appropriate choices.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP), located approximately 20–25 minutes from downtown Greenville and 30 minutes from Furman University. GSP offers direct flights to many major U.S. cities and is the most convenient option for guests traveling by air.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

For guests traveling to Greenville, we have reserved room blocks at the Courtyard Greenville Downtown, Hampton Inn & Suites Greenville Downtown RiverPlace, and Hyatt Place Greenville Downtown. These hotels are conveniently located in downtown Greenville and are a short distance from the reception venue. Please see our Accommodations page for booking information and reservation deadlines.

Question

Who is invited to the Welcome Party on Thursday?

Answer

All of our guests are invited to stop by New Realm Brewing Co. after dinner to enjoy drinks, light bites, and time with family and friends before the big day. We'd love to see you and celebrate together as everyone arrives in Greenville!

Question

Will transportation be provided between venues?

Answer

While transportation will not be provided between Furman University and downtown Greenville, the venues are approximately 20 minutes apart by car. Guests are welcome to drive, use rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft, or coordinate with family and friends.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 20–30 minutes before the ceremony begins. This will allow ample time for parking, walking to Daniel Chapel, and finding your seat before the ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 p.m.

Question

How far is Furman University (Daniel Chapel) from downtown Greenville?

Answer

We would recommend planning 20 minutes of travel time from downtown Greenville to Furman University.

Question

Is there parking at Daniel Chapel?

Answer

Yes, there are two parking lots available on either side of the chapel.

Question

What is the best way to get to Daniel Chapel?

Answer

We would recommend entering Furman University from the main gate located at 3300 Poinsett Highway. Once you enter the gates, you will follow the traffic circle about ¾ of the way around and take the exit that puts you onto the Furman mall (long tree-lined road). The Daniel Chapel will be about half-way down on your left, and there are parking lots on either side of the chapel.

Question

Where should I park for the reception at the Huguenot Mill and Loft?

Answer

There two city-owned parking garages that are conveniently located next to the Huguenot Mill. We recommend parking at the Riverplace Garage (300 River St, Greenville, SC 29601) or the River Street Garage (414 River St, Greenville, SC 29601), which are both less than a 5-minute walk to the venue.

Question

When does Cocktail Hour start?

Answer

Following the ceremony, guests will have time to travel to downtown Greenville, where cocktail hour will begin upon arrival at the Huguenot Mill. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served before the reception begins.

Question

Will there be cultural traditions during the celebration?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding will incorporate elements of Palestinian wedding traditions, and we're excited to share them with all of our guests. You don't need to prepare anything special, just come ready to celebrate, dance, and have fun!
