Flying into Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) will definitely be the closest and easiest to travel into. It is a 15-20 minute drive from the airport to the town of Jackson Hole. You can also fly into Idaho Falls Airport (IDA), rent a car, and make the 2 hour drive to Jackson Hole, WY. Sometimes, this can be a more affordable option if you don't mind the extra travel. We like to frequently check "kayak.com" for flight prices but you can also regularly check the airlines websites directly for flight options.

Travel Note

Travel

A rental car would be advised in addition to your travel needs. The town of Jackson is easily accessible by foot but traveling to the National Park for the hike, lake day, ceremony, and reception will need a car to get to and from the destinations. Kyle & I will have our cars and want to be able to accommodate carpooling the best that we can but please understand the day of our wedding we will be on a slightly different schedule. Please coordinate accordingly. The Grand Teton National Park is only accessible by permit only. Permits for the park entry are $35 for a WEEK and are by CAR not by person (so carpooling is encouraged to save $$$). You will need park access in order to attend the hike, lake day, and our ceremony.

Lodging Notes

We have made wedding room block off accommodations for the hotel we have listed. However, we encourage you to choose and book with any other lodging facility that best fits in your budget and comfortability. Jackson Hole is a small but very nice and safe town. Often times "motels and hostels" may be frowned upon but we can assure you these lodging options are just as clean and safe as any hotel or resort style accommodation in the area. We also want you to note that Kyle and I will be camping from the 8-10th within the National Park and we encourage you to join us if you can or are willing. See our FAQs page for more information.
