We just want to extend a huge THANK YOU! We know this has been a long time coming. Our wedding plans had bent, changed, broke, and then basically fell off of the plane of existence for a little while during Cassie's recovery. Through it all, you all have stuck by us and have been a positive light that has gotten us here. We are beyond ECSTATIC to put the disasters of 2020 behind (at least for a weekend) and celebrate our love with the people who have been a part of it all along. We thank you & we love you!

Back in the summer of 2013, Kyle charmed me with my lust for travel by commenting on one of my Instagram pictures where I had shared my want to travel to Thailand and volunteer with the elephants. After a few "likes" of each others photos he finally messaged me with his email to continue our conversation about the elephant conservations around the world. Just a few emails and it quickly escalated to phone number exchanges. We texted and called everyday for a few weeks while Kyle was still traveling out west. He surprised me by coming home a day early and instead of unpacking or getting his bearings back home, he insisted I come over and we finally meet in person. I, of course, didn't hesitate. I still remember how nervous I was driving to his house. Little did I know, not only was I meeting him for the first time, I was also about to meet his entire family too. They all welcomed me with open arms and I was put to ease with our chemistry right off the bat. He asked to see me again the very next day, on September 28th, 2021, and we've been inseparable ever since.

It was another road trip, at least Cassie thought it was just another road trip. We headed up the north west from our home in Arizona stopping through Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho. We arrive in Jackson hole, WY. Such a special place in our hearts already even before the proposal. All that was on Cassie's mind was going back to Jenny lake, the same spot where Kyle proved the Tetons beauty to Cassie many years ago on their very first road trip together. Kyle hiked ahead of her like he always does, and when Cassie approached the private inlet he had found off of the crowded trail, he knew his proposal timing was meant to be. Cassie was basking in the views and as she turned around to share it with him he was down on one knee. She immediately blacked out, broke out into tears, and chose denial- but was quickly brought back to reality when Kyle embraced her in his arms. He calmed her just like that for awhile until he got back on one knee for her to finally say "yes". It was so surreal from the moment we got out of the car; how we had a whole side trail to ourselves, to walking straight into this inlet that was private just to us, to having Cassie's MOH there to capture and celebrate it all with us. It couldn't of been anymore perfect.
