As everyone knows, Jeff loves his Brazilian background. You would think he lived there his entire life the way he talks about Brazil — the culture, the music, the lifestyle, and most importantly… soccer. It’s one of the many things Agustina fell in love with about him. In the early stages of dating, Jeff shared everything there was to know about Brazil. Agustina only knew surface-level things at first, but little by little, she began to fall in love not just with the country, but with Jeff’s passion for it. What started as curiosity slowly became something more. She wasn’t just learning about Brazil — she was embracing a part of him. About twenty dates in, they planned to meet up with a small group of Brazilian friends for a night out. Agustina was still new to the culture, but excited — and felt completely safe with Jeff guiding her along the way. Jeff loved watching her step into his world with such openness and willingness. They ended up at a Brazilian bar in Boca Raton, Florida, with live music, caipirinhas flowing, and sertanejo filling the room. The culture was booming in the middle of South Florida. At first, they were all dancing together in a big group — laughing, drinking, having the best time. Eventually, it became just the two of them in the middle of the crowded bar. Agustina had no idea how Brazilians dance. She glanced around trying to mimic the steps, slightly panicked but determined. Jeff smiled, took her hands, and gently guided her: two steps to the right, two steps to the left. Somehow — miraculously — she got it on beat the first time (which is surprising, because she will admit she’s not the strongest dancer). They kept stepping right and left, laughing, perfectly in sync to the sertanejo music. And in that moment, watching her try, laugh, and fully embrace a part of his world— he saw someone he knew he felt something more for. Jeff looked at her, smiling so big it was impossible to miss, and in the middle of the crowded bar he shouted over the music: “Wow… I love you!” And in that moment, it wasn’t just about the dance. It was about finding someone willing to step into your world — and choosing each other, fully and wholeheartedly.
