Holy Spokes is a bike share program located throughout the Charleston area. Pick up a bike from one Holy Spokes bike rack, ride it all over town, and return it to the same or a different Holy Spokes bike rack. This is an affordable option for the active tourist. ** It is VERY important to note that it is ILLEGAL TO RIDE ON THE SIDE WALKS in downtown Charleston. You MUST RIDE ON THE STREET and OBEY ALL TRAFFIC LAWS. Disobeying these laws very well may result in a ticket or fine just like if you were in a car, or at the very least you'll get a bunch of locals yelling at you all day. Stay off of the sidewalks with your bike, folks.
