Hotel
Our venue is located in the mountains outside of the city, so there aren't a lot of hotel options in the immediate venue area. We recommend staying in Pasadena, which is ~30 minute drive to the venue, and where we will be posted up for the weekend! Our hotel recommendation: Westin Pasadena We booked a room block at the Westin Pasadena at a discounted rate of $219-239/night.* Please use this link to book your room: https://book.passkey.com/go/AerienneandEvanWedding • Valet parking is available for $24/day (ins/outs permitted) • There is also an adjacent self-park option for $19/day (no ins/outs, so valet is a better option if you think you'll come and go) • The hotel has a rooftop pool! And we'll be staying there Thursday-Sunday! #poolparty • This hotel is walking distance to Old Town Pasadena with plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. *Room block notes: • You must book prior to September 3 to get the discounted rate. We recommend booking sooner! • They are only holding rooms for Friday night, so we'd encourage you to book your hotel stays as soon as possible so any additional nights you want to book don't sell out! Any additional days will still be at the discounted rate. We do have to book a minimum amount of rooms for the discounted rate. If this minimum is not booked, you will be charged the regular rate. We don't foresee this being an issue, we are confident we'll hit the minimum!

Travel Note
There are several major airports in the Los Angeles area. We recommend either Burbank (BUR) or LAX. • Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR): Pros: closest airport to our wedding venue and hotel, small airport that is easy to navigate, quick security lines, easy to get Uber/Lyft/taxi Cons: fewer direct flights, no international flights, not connected to public transportation • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Pros: international flights, more flight options, more direct flights, more rental car options. Public transportation accessible* Cons: busy airport with potentially long lines for security/baggage, lots of traffic, long lines for Uber/Lyft, further from our venue/hotel *If you are flying into LAX and not renting a car, we recommend the Flyaway Shuttle to Union Station in downtown LA. Flyaway Shuttle Bus details from LAX: $12.75 one-way, tickets can be purchased in advance or in-person Shuttles go between all LAX terminals and Union Station in downtown Los Angeles For more information: https://www.flylax.com/flyaway-bus/fares-tickets
Travel Note
Los Angeles is a famously car-centric city, so certain destinations (including our wedding venue) do require a car to get there*. However, it's possible to enjoy the city without renting a car or having your own car! • Ubers/Lyfts are plentiful, but they can get expensive for long distances or during peak hours • TRAFFIC is real, especially on a Friday / Saturday! Be prepared for traffic jams, delays, and extended travel times. If you are driving, always check Maps for traffic when planning your arrival time, and allow extra time to arrive (especially to our wedding!) • Certain areas of the city are very walkable, including Old Town Pasadena (where our hotel block is) and South Pasadena (where we live!). We have other neighborhood recommendations if you're interested in exploring LA. • Public transportation is great for some parts of the city, and very affordable (with limitations). If you're comfortable and familiar with using public transportation in other big cities, this may be an option for you! Know that Los Angeles is HUGE - there are 99 neighborhoods in the City of LA, and that doesn't include all of the bonus cities here in LA County (88 cities in total). There are still many neighborhoods and areas we've never explored! Our region is called the San Gabriel Valley (SGV) because we're at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. This area is known in LA for its amazing authentic Chinese cuisine.
