Our wedding is Black-Tie Optional. For ladies, this means formal dresses and gown. For the gentlemen, either suits or tuxes are accepted! There is outdoor patio space during both the cocktail hour and reception. November can be a bit chilly, so we recommend bringing a shawl or jacket to stay warm if you want to enjoy some fresh air!
While we would love to have the children attend the Ceremony at St. Helen's, the Reception will be adults-only.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent during the church ceremony. We've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for her to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.
It is about a 35 minute drive from St. Helen's to The Ryland Inn. For any guests spending the night at the Marriott, we recommend checking in during the break between the Ceremony and the Cocktail Hour.
Yes! There is a parking lot available at St. Helen's and there is complimentary valet parking for all guests at The Ryland Inn. Hotel guests staying at the Marriott also have parking included in their room cost.
Yes, we are! The after-party will be held at the Ryland Inn as well. There will be drinks and late-night bites to wind down the celebration. However, if you would like to return to the hotel prior to the after-party, the shuttle will be doing a trip after the reception ends (10PM) and then another trip after the after-party (11PM).
Due to space restrictions of the venue, we are unable to offer everyone a plus-one. Your invitation and subsequent RSVP on Zola will indicate the numbers of seats that we've reserved for you.
Yes! When you RSVP, there will be a spot on Zola to list out any food restrictions you may have and we'll ensure our venue is aware of them.
