Colombia requires all travelers to complete an Immigration CHECKMIG Form within 48 hours of their flight to Colombia. Form is available at the link below: https://apps.migracioncolombia.gov.co/pre-registro/en/DatosViaje If you do not complete form, they may not let you board your flight.

Long Customs Lines —Plan Ahead!
Customs lines in Cartagena are extremely long and can exceed 2+ hours. Make sure you bring plenty of water & snacks or use the family/priority line! The priority (“family”) line is for families and travelers who are older (55+), pregnant, or those with health needs. The family/priority line runs along the side of the main passport queues (usually against the wall, separate from the long standard lines) and may be marked with by wheelchair or stroller icons. If you don’t see a sign, ask airport staff: ¿Dónde está la fila para familias?

UBER is the best way to get around once in Cartagena. Typical costs to/from airport is 40,000 COP ($10 USD).
