As with any popular city (such as NYC), it’s important to take basic safety precautions and stay vigilant. • Avoid wearing flashy, expensive jewelry. • Don't carry around large sums of money. • Be mindful of pickpocketers. • Secure your belongings • Politely decline unsolicited offers. • Be aware of scams & hidden fees. • Don't take taxis (Use Uber) • Don't use dating apps or meet-up with strangers • Always confirm price before accepting any product/service.
