Things haven't always gone according to plan, but I couldn't be happier to find myself where I am today -- in love with my perfect partner and able to (safely) celebrate our love with so many people I care so much about, From an initial failed dating app message about my palate expander traumas, to scrambling to find a backup second date location that ended up in 3 hours of chanting, to a global pandemic that confined us to a 300-sq-ft apartment, and even to snowstorm-delayed engagement weekend resulting in a ring journey that puts Frodo to shame, there have been several significant junctures in our love story that weren't necessarily "my" plan, but whoever's it was, I couldn't be happier to be so close to promising to Adrienne to love and care for her (and try to plan) the rest of our lives together.
