Bearwallow Mountain Trail
Short 1-mile trail to a beautiful overlook. Great spot to have a picnic, meet cows, watch the sunset/sunrise, and enjoy the views of WNC.
Looking Glass Falls
Does not require hike, just a short walk down some stairs to the falls. Can even be viewed from the road. Located in Brevard.
The North Carolina Arboretum
Affordable spot to visit for some views of nature and plants, but without the drive or difficulty of a hike.
Biltmore
If you've ever seen a Hallmark movie and there was a castle, it was probably filmed here. It is called "America's Largest Home" and spans 8000 acres. Additionally, Biltmore village is an adorable spot to spend too much money.
