The ceremony and reception will both be at the Stanley Park Pavilion – 610 Pipeline Road, Vancouver.
We’d like to limit the number of kids at the wedding but completely understand that you may be travelling from afar and that you might like to bring your kids on holiday too! If you’ll be traveling to Canada from Australia or Ireland, or don’t have access to childcare in Vancouver, please let us know and we’d be more than happy to have your whole family celebrate with us!
The Stanley Park Pavilion is just outside the Downtown area on the fringe of Stanley Park (about a 10-minute drive). The best way to get to the venue is either via taxi or in an Uber/Lyft. A free shuttle will be running later in the evening to get you home again!
Paid parking in Stanley Park is provided by Easy Park. We recommend you download the Easy Park app. The lot is number #62. Please note however, there is a free shuttle that will be run every 30 minutes between 9:45pm - 1:15am. The shuttle will be dropping folks off in Downtown Vancouver and is the easiest way to get home from the venue.
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm so please arrive by 4:00pm.
Our ceremony will be nice and cozy indoors!
Guest names, including plus ones, are indicated on the invitations. As we start receiving RSVPs we’re more than happy to discuss additional plus ones.
Cocktail attire …and remember to bring something warm as well, we’re looking at you Aussies! 😊
There are plenty of accommodation options in Vancouver - both hotel and Airbnb/VRBO. We've put together an Accommodation Guide to help with bookings. Check it out here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jsDaFyYONzH1LmM6PoAMikoBxPrdYfJT/view
Yes, a free shuttle will run every 30 minutes between 9:45pm – 1:15am and will drop guests off Downtown (specifically, at the Hyatt Hotel on Burrard Street and at the intersection of Georgia & Granville Streets).
Yes, there is plenty to do in Vancouver! Please check out the “Things To Do” tab for more ideas. We’ll continue to update this as we get closer to November.
Absolutely & we’d love you to tag us so we can see them as well!
Last call will be at 12:15am.
Vancouver has a moderate climate for most of the year. It doesn't get the cold snowy weather that you will find in much of the rest of Canada, but it is important to plan for the elements (it ain't called "Raincouver" for nothing!). There is a likely chance of a dusting of snow in higher elevations in Metro Vancouver in November, but not in the City. Snow on the mountains likely means rain in the city. With this in mind, please remember to pack a decent waterproof jacket and appropriate footwear. You will also want layers! Oh, and don't worry - our wedding venue will have a coat check so we can store all your winter woolies while you're at the wedding!
In true Irish fashion, we’ll be hosting the “Afters” the following evening (Saturday) at the Forge in Gastown. This is just a casual affair so we can have (another) drink and a catch up!
Yes… us!! If you have any questions (big or small) we’d love to hear from you!
