We’re Getting Married!

Adriana and Nick met in 6th-grade homeroom! They had the same homeroom class for many years along with assigned side by side lockers. They became close friends when Adriana told her mom, Louise, that Nick was the only middle school boy who wasn't mean to the girls. Nick asked Adriana to be his girlfriend in 7th grade but then he said nevermind two days later- ha! They were still friends though! Adriana met Nick's family at the 8th-grade graduation and to this day, Nick's mom, Lorraine, always teases Adriana and says, “I knew you loved him since the 8th grade when I saw how you looked at him.”

At the end of 10th grade, Nick asked Adriana to be his girlfriend! The two of them have been together since that day. They remained best friends, in love and inseperable throughout their highschool years, college years and their young adult lives.

Adriana and Nick went to the city with their close friends, Kristen & Tom, Meghan & Zach, and Amanda & Manny. They had planned to see the tree in Rockefeller Center, go out to dinner and then see the Rockette’s performance. Adriana wondered if this would finally be the proposal she had been waiting for, it was a perfect day for it! Her three best friends, NYC, and it was the 6th of the month (their anniversary is the 6th of May). It turns out that Nick thought this would be an amazing proposal opportunity also, but he knew Adriana might be suspicious. Nick told Amanda that he needed her to convince Adriana that a proposal was not going to happen. Amanda was successful and Adriana did not see it coming! Nick dropped the ring off to Manny, Amanda’s boyfriend, the night before and Manny held on to the ring until right before the proposal! Nick proposed in front of the tree and the eight of them celebrated with dinner and the Radio City Show afterward!
