. . . Adriana and Jon met on the set of MythBusters: The Search in August 2016 - Jon was a contestant on the show and Adriana was the talent manager. They quickly became friends throughout the few months of filming. Jon swept Adriana off of her feet (without her realizing at the time) by describing, in great detail, the taste and texture of all the non-Gluten Free pastries and inviting her to sniff the pastry he was eating to enhance the experience (LOL). The show came to an end and they both went their separate ways...UNTIL Jon was declared one of the winners of "The Search" and they reunited in Santa Clarita to film "Mythbusters 2.0" in March 2017. Adriana and Jon hung out A LOT and became best friends and confidants. They collaborated on ideas for the show, explored LA, tried a lot of yummy food and laughed A LOT. They were home away from home for each other. Adriana always held Jon in really high regard, deeply admiring his intelligence and creativity. She really noticed how thoughtful he was of everyone around him and thought to herself: That's a cool guy. And, of course, she fell in love with how hilarious, silly, energetic and enthusiastic he was. She had a profound realization of how sweet Jon made her life everyday and how being with him, no matter what they were doing, filled her with joy. Jon greatly admired Adriana since the first day they met, and regarded her as an all around bad-ass, getting things done, boss lady. Her spirit for adventure was contagious and she always matched, or exceeded Jon's energy. Her caring and generously positive attitude shined through her brilliant personality. She was/is Jon's ultimate hype-woman. He has always really felt how much Adriana truly believed in him, and that he could accomplish anything. Her belief in him fills him with courage, and her comedy fills him with joy (and uncontrollable laughter). After a year of being BFFs, they made it 'official' in August 2017 and the rest is history!
