Our Story

It all started in nursing school in 2018 when a shy Benjamin asked out an even shyer Adriana. To Ben's dismay, Adri's mature and initial response was not a No, but a Not Yet since both of them were still finishing up their last semesters at CSUEB. The two slowly grew closer, at first as good friends, until they officially started dating months later. Together they studied to get their nursing licenses and in the later months jobs that would bring them over 8 hours apart. Navigating a long-distance relationship during the height of the pandemic as newly graduated nurses was perhaps the 2nd hardest thing we've ever done (1st being nursing school). Despite all these challenges their love for each other never wavered. That is when Ben knew that he could not live without Adriana, and proposed to her in a Rose Garden in 2023. Since then, they both have traveled the world together, own a house, and have 2 adorable cats named Patches & Ash. And very soon on 9/19/2026, they will be married!!!
