Rental cars will be the easiest option. Please check out the Travel and Accommodations page for estimated travel times. There are also some shuttle services and private car services from Orlando, West Palm Beach and Melbourne airports.

What is the best way to get around Vero Beach?

Answer

A rental car will be your best bet. If you are staying in one of the beachside hotels, you will be within walking distance of shopping and restaurants on Ocean Drive, the beach, and the Indian River Lagoon. To explore sites on the mainland, you will need to drive. Uber and Lyft are available (though not always plentiful!). Springhill Suites has a complementary shuttle to most beachside locations up until 10PM.
