Hannah and Robert's love story began in August of 2022. In the place of all places, they met at the Peppermill Bar in Cheyenne, Wyoming. It was love at first sight, well at least for one of them... Hannah walked up to the bar with her friend- in classic Hannah fashion, wearing sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt after working a 12 hour nursing shift. Robert spotted her from across the bar and, turning to his buddies, confidently said, "Take notes boys". A few feet away, he called out to Hannah, asking if he could buy her a drink. She glanced over - unimpressed by his man bun - and replied "I can pay for my own drinks, thank you very much." A bold move that might've ended things there, but their story was just getting started. An hour or so later, fate (or maybe just good bar seating) brought Hannah to the seat right next to Robert. Robert thought he wouldn't miss a second chance to talk to Hannah, and said "They always come back ya know, and I need a date to Hawaii in April". With an eye roll, a laugh, and maybe a little curiosity, Hannah accepted the drink this time, and from that moment on the conversation never stopped. They talked till the bar closed, both surprised by how much they had in common - and wondering how their paths hadn't crossed before. The next day, they started texting. Hoping to play it cool, Hannah told Robert she was out for drinks at a local brewery with her twin sister, Abbey. The truth? They were in pajamas at home. But when Robert said he'd love to stop by and join them, the sisters had never gotten ready faster. Somehow, they made it to the brewery first, and successfully pulled off their white lie, saving face and keeping the story alive. Robert and Hannah spent another night getting to know each other even more. Just five days later, Robert asked Hannah out for their first official date. Of course, she said yes - but on the drive, he casually mentioned that they were actually heading to a barbecue... At his mom's house...with his entire family... Hannah was understandably a little nervous (meeting the family after a week of knowing each other?!?!), but Robert says he already knew she was someone special - someone who'd be sticking around for a long time. From that moment on, they were pretty much inseparable. And yes - Hannah did go to Hawaii with Robert that April, just like he said.
