SCUBA Diving w/ Dive Provo
SCUBA Diving is one of the most important activities to Corey and Adreon. Experience the underwater thrill that keeps them together! We have set up a boat with Dive Provo for certified divers. Boat space is limited due to the time of year so it is best to plan early. If you are interested in getting certified, please let Adreon or Corey know right away. Getting certified takes some time and effort but it is worth it :). You may be able to join us on the boat!
Fish Fry
The Fish Fry is a really fun local street festival where various restaurants serve up fried fish, conch salad, tacos, beer and cocktails. Local vendors set up to sell jewelry, t shirts and souvenirs. This event happens EVERY THURSDAY at 4pm! We had a great time at this event - it is a 10-15min walk from the Sibonne and the Sands.
Turks Head Brewery
Love mediocre beer?! Turks Head is your place! It's worth checking on the Island Brewery.
Da Conch Shack
Quite the party environment - there is live music and great drinks. It is not walkable from the hotel area so you will either need to get a taxi or coordinate with someone who is renting a car.
Island Snorkeling
Bight Reef (or Coral Garden Reef) is an excellent snorkel from shore option -- it is "Walkable" from Sibonne, though it is quite the trek at around 35 minutes. We recommend you walk along the beach instead of the road. Walk a Potcake!
Potcake place is a non-profit dog rescue shelter, with a location in central Grace Bay at the Saltmills Plaza (20 min walk from Sibonne). They are always looking for people to walk the pups! Beach socialization walks are allowed from Monday to Saturday, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Puppies may be out for a maximum of two hours. Time slots for walking puppies are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also donate food/supplies.
