We are on the island prior to wedding week and staying through Feb 18th.
Yes, you do. The sooner you renew your passport, the better!
It's usually between 80° to 84°F in February, with a water temperature of 74° to 78°F. Some light drizzle can occur, but it won't dampen your time there. Most of the time, the weather is gorgeous! Blue skies, puffy white clouds, warm weather!
The US Dollar :) No need to worry about converting money.
The Turks & Caicos Islands are a British Overseas Territory, and Her Majesty the Queen appoints a Governor as her representative based in the islands. The economy of the TCI relies primarily on the tourism industry, but also real estate development and the exportation of seafood. Turks & Caicos Islanders are mostly descendants of Africans who were brought in to work the salt pans or the cotton plantations. The expat population consists of British, Canadians, Americans, French, Bahamians, people from Hispaniola and virtually everywhere in the world.
These Islands has one of the lowest crime rates and highest crime-solved rates in the Caribbean. We cannot, however, let down the guard against opportunist-type theft. Do not leave valuables unattended. Lock doors and windows. Use the hotel safe for storage of valuables. These simple precautions should prevent the loss of cash, jewelry and identification.

Please reach out to Adreon in regards to roommate planning. If you are renting a nearby condo or larger room and would be interested in hosting, let Adreon know that, too. Thank you!
This decision is up to you. Corey and I are planning to stay at the Sibonne and Sands resorts during our time on the island. (Staying at Sibonne until Feb 11/12th then moving over to the Sands.) Staying at the Sibonne: This is where the wedding ceremony and reception will be hosted. We have room block reserved at Sibonne, making it a bit easier to book. Rooms are simple but get the job done - check out their website for amenities and policies. https://www.sibonne.com/helpful-info Our travel advisor, Anne Allen, has access to the Sibonne room block or can help you book with another hotel. Email her at: anne@ikptravel.com You may still be able to book a room after the block expires. However, the resort is small and will fill up quickly in February so there are no guarantees after the block expires. Staying at the Sands: This is more upscale, suite style resort. If you are looking for a little more luxury, this may be an option for you. It is a 5 minute walk from the wedding reception. We do not have a room block here so it is best to reserve with the Sands early. Take a look at their rooms for more information. https://thesandstc.com/the-resort/accommodations/ Amenities - https://thesandstc.com/families/family-amenities/ You are also welcome to look at other hotel options - there are some hidden Airbnb gems in the Grace Bay area. Just note that you may need to pay for taxis or rent a car to attend wedding events. Reach out to Adreon with any questions if you are thinking about an Airbnb.
Flight schedules for the major airlines are published. Depending where you are flying from, you may have a connection. Please let us know when you book your flight so we can work on transportation. Please let Adreon know flight and hotel info (if you aren't staying at the Sibonne) so we can work on transportation.
