We are not hotel blocking! If you are coming from out of town and are looking for cost-effective lodging (friends' spare rooms, couches, etc.), please just let us know. By please let us know, we mean really, truly, please do let us know. And if you have a spare room, futon, etc., please do let know so we can start matching folks and goods up.

Gifts?

Answer

Gifts are absolutely not required and we don't have a registry or anything of the sort but love gifts of the heart, and when all else fails, we promise, cash will do the trick.

Dates?

Answer

For the events serving big meals (the sangeeth, the ceremonies, the reception dinner) space is rather limited, so if you don't see a partner's name on the RSVP, we might not have been able to budget for them. That said, we're in the business of problem solving, always, and are happy to try to make things work however best we can for the people in your life AND please note that the Sunday Brunch is space-flexible and can surely fit in a couple more folks :)

You might notice there's not a food-selection form-- we're keeping things a little easier by just offering a slate of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options (with a few vegan and gluten free selections at each meal) mostly served family style. If there's a dietary request we should be observant of that's not captured here, just drop a line and we'll figure that out!

Drinks?

Answer

Beer and wine will run abundantly. We're talking kegs, we're talking six-packs on tables, we're talking "tonight we're letting the Josh talk". Sprits of a higher-shelf will be mostly absent at this budget wedding but hey, no one is stopping you from bringing in a bottle of 1942 to share with the class.

Clothes?

Answer

The wedding is desi, and we imagine most of our clothes will be inflected as such, that said, we encourage you throughout the events to wear whatever you feel good and dolled-up in (there will, ideally, be plenty of moving and dancing, so just be comfortable). No colors banned, and no colors imposed. If you're interested in wearing desi clothes to the event, but don't have any just let us know and we can help! Don't feel pressured to buy new clothes or spend bucks on dressing for this (FWIW Aditi and Sara are both procuring fits from Ebay for the weekend)-- we think you guys are cute always <3
