The bride and groom will be focused on being present for the wedding activities and will not be available to respond quickly to questions about the wedding events.

What COVID Precautions are you taking?

Answer

All guests have confirmed that they are fully vaccinated. In accordance with local and state COVID regulations vaccinated guests are not required to wear masks for the wedding events. Guests will be asked to wear masks in the lobby and elevator of our wedding venue.

What COVID precautions is the venue taking?

Answer

Venue SIX10 is following all of the state and local COVID regulations and also doing all of the following: - Electrostatic disinfecting of our entire facility prior to reopening, with this process continuing as needed going forward. - Providing hand sanitizing stations throughout the facility - Installing plexiglass sneeze guards in all reception areas. - Installing high efficiency HVAC air filters while allowing maximum fresh air intake - Rigorous and repeat cleanings with sanitizing solutions of frequently used surfaces —including door handles, elevator buttons, counters, and restrooms.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Cocktail dress, gowns, pantsuits, and suits are welcome.

What will the weather be in Chicago in July?

Answer

The weather in Chicago in July is typically in the high 70s to low 80s and slightly humid.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception are both indoors. The venue has a capacity of 300 people and we expect to have approximately 160 guests so we will have a lot of room to physical distance as needed. The welcome party is also indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a cocktail hour and reception immediately following the ceremony. The cocktail hour and reception will be held at the same venue as the ceremony.

Are there any other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We hope you will stop by our welcome party on Friday, July 9th between 5pm and 7pm at The Gage (24 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60603). Please see the Schedule page of the wedding website for details.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you are unable to attend the wedding please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" on our wedding website so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Venue SIX10 is located at 610 S. Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60603. Please enter this address into the maps application on your phone.

We encourage you to arrive at 5:15pm.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate the people listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have hotel blocks at three hotels close to the wedding venue. Please visit the "Travel" page on our wedding website to see the hotels and take advantage of the wedding block prices.

When is the RSVP deadline? How do I RSVP?

Answer

In order to have ample time for planning we ask that you submit your RSVP by May 31, 2021. Please RSVP using the "RSVP" page on our wedding website. Enter your full name and you will be prompted to submit an RSVP form.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, our venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

There will be an open bar during the cocktail reception and reception. We will have a plated dinner during the reception, a dessert buffet, and late night snacks. Please let us know your meal preference when you submit your RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate any food allergies so please provide us with that information on your RSVP form.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

We have a vegetarian meal option and can accommodate gluten free and vegan needs upon request. Please indicate this when you submit your RSVP form.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Our wedding registry is with Zola and linked to our wedding website. You can view the registry by going to the "Registry" page.

Is there parking at the wedding vanue?

Answer

Venue SIX10 validates parking for the Grant Park South Garage (325 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60604). This is an underground, self-parking garage. The validation is $9 for 12 hours of parking; you can get your parking ticket validated in the lobby of the venue. This parking lot is a 6-minute walk from the venue.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

No, the hotels are within walking distance of the wedding venue. If you are unable to walk, we recommend using Lyft or Uber for a ride to the wedding venue from your hotel.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

No, our centerpieces are provided by our florist and will not be available for guests.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding hashtag is #JasonFoundAGoodOne please use this hashtag when sharing pictures on social media so we can see how you capture the celebration!
