We met on Bumble! Jason swiped right on Adia's profile because she seemed down to earth and had a beautiful smile. Adia was endeared by Jason's profile where he wrote that he was looking for a woman who cares about people. We started our conversation about favorite foods and restaurants to try and Jason impressed Adia by taking her to an American New Restaurant (S.K.Y.) she had never heard of for their first date.

Jason planned a surprise birthday date for Adia a couple of days after her birthday. He told her that the theme for their date was "New Beginnings" and they started out by going to the Old Town Art Fair to look for new art for their new home together. After hanging out with Jason's cousin and new friends we headed down to Buckingham Fountain where a few of Jason's Mock Trial students were standing holding signs that said "Will You Marry Me?" Jason turned Adia around to see the sign, got down on one knee and asked Adia to marry her. Adia happily said yes!!
