Bridesmaid
The elder sister of the Barboza girls, Barika helped to mold Adia into the woman she is today. Barika would come home from college in North Carolina and Adia would immediately cling to her side. As they grew older they grew even closer by traveling together and wreaking havoc on every beach they stepped foot on. Despite all of the broken promises of candy and playing Barbies today Barika is one of Adia's closest confidants.
Bridesmaid
Bianca gave Adia her first toy - a used and tattered stuffed elephant. That is when they became frenemies. Bianca gave birth to Adia's favorite person, was Adia's prom date, and caused her fail her first trust fall - ask her about it at the wedding. For her part, Adia consistently "borrows" Bianca's clothes, constantly solicits her for interior design advice, and plots to use this wedding to replace Bianca as their father's favorite child. Three decades of being frenemies and nobody will have your back like a sister who denies your friendship.
Bridesmaid
The stuff best friends are made of. Jess and Adia met the first day of orientation at Temple University and have been riding for each other ever since. From fourth meal in J&H to champagne brunches these two are thick as thieves and giggly as little girls. Adia will always be jealous of Jess's biceps but will never have the energy to get some for herself.
Groomsman
None of this would be possible without Ron. He tricked his sister into moving to Houston. He dropped Adia off at our first date. He let her borrow the motorcycle for the weekends. Most importantly, he's welcomed me as if we were family. I couldn't ask for a better brother-in-law.

If you're going to spend almost a year living with someone in a 6x12 shipping container, do it with Christian. Whether we were riding in the back of a CH-53, lifting wheelchairs for exercise, or in downtown LA, Christian always had my back. I know I'll always be able to count on him to let me know what dope new albums are out or where to get the best bagels in San Diego.
Groomsman
It's a good thing that radar didn't kill Jake, otherwise I never would've learned how to make french toast. Jake has been a great coworker, friend, and occasional rival since we met. I've always been able to count on him, whether he was across the hall or 2,000 miles away. Also, he's terrible at spelling.
