Railay Village Resort

If you'd prefer a more economical option, we recommend the Railay Village Resort, which is only a 5 min walk down the beach to Rayavadee. We toured a lot of the nearby hotels and Railay Village was by far our favorite since it seems to be newer / more recently renovated. We wouldn't recommend rolling the dice on another resort if not staying at Rayavadee - some resorts photos didn't match reality!

Flight

USA / Canada > BKK

Unfortunately there are no direct flights into BKK from the US, so you will likely need to connect. Some guests are planning to fly into a connection cities like Seoul or Tokyo and stay there for a day or two before heading to Bangkok to break things up a bit.

BKK > KBV

You'll first want to fly into Bangkok (BKK) and then you'll take a commuter with Bangkok Airlines into Krabi (KBV). Recommend purchasing BKK to KBV separately from your flight to get to BKK as it will be way cheaper that way.

Getting from Krabi to Railay Beach

You'll need to take a boat transfer to get from Krabi to Railay Beach. If you book accomodations through Pin @ Rayavadee (WhatsApp: +66887524312, Email: event_service@rayavadee.com), she will arrange for free airport transfer for you, with a car picking you up at the Krabi airport to take you to the Rayavadee Pier, then a short 20 min boat ride to reach the island that Rayavadee is on. If you are staying at Railay Village Resort, you can coordinate airport transfer through the Railay hotel as well. If you don't pre-arrange transfer with the hotels, you can call a Grab (their local equivalent to Uber, you can download the Grab app) and ask them to take you to the doc where the longboats are to go to Railay Beach.

No documentation is needed at this time! When we flew into Thailand they did not check our vaccination records or do any temperature checks.
