Valle de Guadalupe

Valle de Guadalupe

Mexico's premier wine destination - we cannot recommend this enough!! Just 45 minutes away from the venue you'll find world class wine in a scenic coastal valley - think Joshua Tree meets Napa. In addition to the wine, taste some of the best, freshest food we have ever tried. Recommendations are endless but here are some of our favorites: Cuarzo - Exceptional food - try the homemade bread, ensalada de fresa, and ceviche Bruma - A beautiful oasis where you can enjoy lunch, dinner or a glass of wine under the shade of olive trees Adobe Guadalupe - Fantastic wines and casual outdoor patio w/ Spanish inspired tapas Finca Altozano - Pristine, rustic winery - the perfect place for an afternoon wine stroll, or a steak! Malva - Feel like you're dining in a beautiful treehouse with a sweeping view of the valle. Enjojy a 10-course tasting menu while sipping on local wines El Cielo, Cuatro cuatros y mas! Shuttle services can easily be arranged so you can drink to your heart's content!

Rosarito

Rosarito

Rosarito, B.C., Mexico

Just a 15 minute drive away from the hotel, Rosarito is a town filled with excellent food, local artisans, and sandy beaches. Some food highlights include: Tapanco Steak house - sit down meal, incredible steaks, tableside guacamole, tacos, etc. *Next door they have a quaint, coastal coffee shop where you can enjoy a latte over the Pacific!* Colectivo Surf Tasting Room - 5 minutes from the resort enjoy exceptional craft beers, sushi, poke, wine, and more! They also have an awesome outdoor patio that will make you feel right at home. Tacos el Yaqui - best takeaway tacos ever - we highly recommend getting the Perrones tacos - carne cooked in front of you, handmade tortillas, guacamole and melty cheese. Please also spare some space in your luggage as the local artisans make beautiful ceramics, tiles, tableware, furniture, etc.

Ensenada

Ensenada

The home of fish tacos! Yes, you read that right - the city is credited as being the originators of fish tacos back in the 1950s. Besides, it also has a remarkable laid-back atmosphere that is perfectly suited for an enjoyable visit filled with seafood, beer, or tequila. Eats: Casa Marcelo - Beautiful ambiance on the terrace and one of our favorite brunches of all times! Don't forget to order one of the fresh squeezed juices to go with your morning coffee.

Puerto Nuevo

Puerto Nuevo

Puerto Nuevo, B.C. 22740, Mexico

Welcome to the "Lobster town" of Baja California. Fit in like a local while sipping on Tecate (or Pacifico if you're like the bride) and eating the freshest lobster of your life! Relax, soak up the sun, and open your ears to the beautiful sounds of mariachis roaming the streets. Restaurant recommendations: Raices - unassuming, cozy spot with an international food menu and carefully crafted cocktails (try the award-winning mezcal drinks)! Siete Mares, El Guero, Sandra's, Villa Ortegas Or if you really want to fit in to the stereotype of a "gringo" pamper yourself with a nice spa day at Vista Hermosa!
