If you're flying in there is Asheville Regional Airport and Tri-Cities Airport that are less than 2hrs from the venue. All roads going to the venue from the airports are functional. Charlotte Douglass International airport is 2.5hrs from the venue.

Motels and hotels around the area: 
Skyline Village Inn about 40min from venue with 4.7 stars. 
Pine Valley Motel about 30min from venue with 4 stars.
Banner Elk has a Best Western 50min from venue with 4.3 stars.
Banner Elk has more accommodations that are 50min from venue. 
If you do plan on attending the wedding I would highly encourage you to book accommodations soon. Late June is a very popular time for visitors and places will start to book up. 
There are restaurants and grocery stores around the area in Spruce Pine, Newland, and Banner Elk.
